100dbs

100dBs

Producer/DJ/Soundmurderer
International man of many faces, 100dBs first moved to Strong Island from Israel at the age of one. After finishing school in Jersey and throwing the most memorable parties University of Maryland has ever witnessed, he moved to Brooklyn to see how many neighbors he could enrage. The Argyle Album (think Jay-Z smoking blunts with Robert Smith, Richard D. James, and Thom Yorke) was an underground smash in 2005, and 2007′s Brenner’s Breaks is your favorite mixtape DJ’s favorite mixtape. When dBs isn’t making sure you throw your damn Ls up at the party, he’s lacing the big homie Ryan O’Neil with only the finest uncut (no homo – see what I did there? It’s a circumcision joke). You can get that crack too at www.100dbs.com.

It’s Overture’s outlandishly amazing outlaw opus, “Haze of the Eighties,” is available hand-to-hand from a shady character near you.

His style’s all over the map, from dance floor bangers to deep dark drum n bass choons, progressive IDM to mainstream mashups. From 2001-2005 he brought underground music to Jersey hosting Artifacture Radio on 88.7 WRSU. Since moving to New York, he’s been helping us step up our game.

Ryan O’Neil

The smooth-talking One-Hand Bandit of Queens lights up every mic he touches, and Theory is blessed to have him on board. His debut album (with production by 100dBs) is dropping real soon, so check him out before he gets too big to get close to.
